Digital Branding, Creative Product and Marketing Strategies
With more than 20 years of digital marketing experience, Grant has been on the founding team of four unique start-ups, run his own creative marketing firm, and delivered a catalog of creative assets for a broad range of clients in technology, hospitality, education, and active-lifestyle industries.
His uncanny knack to strategically chart the right course, and to be agile to make course corrections he attributes to all the hours racing sailboats. “It’s simple geometry” he says, “get out in front at the start, play the wind shifts, and be the first to finish line.” He goes on, “Crew work and boat preparation are also critical components to success. It’s the same for business, the team has to work together, and the business / product / or brand have to be at their best at the given moment.”
Grant believes it’s that combination of understanding new and developing technologies, strategically setting direction, being agile, building solid teams, and delivering quality creative content is what gets a business, brand, or product out in front in todays fast paced digital world.
Grant received his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and pursued his graduate studies at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. How do we do it?
You have an idea of what you need but you’re not sure how to get it. Don’t worry, that’s not uncommon at all. We’ll meet with you in person to discuss your goals and vision. We then put together a proposal that may include content, design, construction, testing, social media marketing, and customer management consulting. Our goal is to help you realize your vision and build your business.
It takes more than engineering to develop an intuitive and easy experience for your website visitors. Our visionaries create a focused, compelling concept that we test with your market. Our project managers and web developers turn it into reality while our social media marketing team begins the all-important work of promoting your brand and building up your customer base.
What’s in a name?
It may seem goofy at first, but if you’ve ever been fortunate enough to walk on a Santa Barbara beach, you’ve undoubtedly ended up with tar on your feet. The tar comes from natural seeps off the coast, deep underwater. Tar on the foot is like a badge of honor proving that you’ve enjoyed the beaches of California’s Central Coast. We all enjoy what we do but we also enjoy where we live.
