After a 20+ career of winemaking on the Central Coast, Steve & Chrystal Clifton decided to begin a new project apart from their Palmina Wines and Brewer-Clifton brands. Steve has produced world-class wines during his career and his expertise couples perfectly with his love of music to formulate the La Voix brand — French for “The Voice.”

How We Helped
We worked on exploring concepts, brand marks, and names, with the Cliftons. The concept began as Rolling Stone meets secret agent but was dialed back a bit so the site would appeal to more conservative oenophiles. Steve’s musical and artistic background needed to be at the root of the brand and pervade throughout the experience. The website (built on both WordPress and Vin65) deviates from the usual stuffy premium winery experience by utilizing Spotify playlists, musical terminology, and fun, large imagery.
